- Execution of voyage instructions to new chartered vessels and ensure that operational procedures are followed by the vessel throughout the charter. \n
- Maximize vessel stowage based on CBF declared with minimum shut out / restows due to stowage issues, with equal crane split to optimize cargo operations and without impeding vessel safety. \n
- Stowage Planning of the vessel to be in compliance with DG segregation, Vessel stability, Lashing parameters, Line of Sight, Trim to meet safety requirements as per regulations. \n
- Closely monitor Vessel Reports in system to minimize pending reports and delayed submission. Ensure vessel report are accurate. Assist Line Managers (LM) with monitoring of alerts to ensure vessels are always following instructions. \n
- Speed adjustment instructions to Captain. \n
- Co-ordinate bunkering operations with local agency/operations to ensure smooth operation. \n
- Advise planned draft and load ability for draft restricted ports. \n
- Support line management in monitoring and coordinating downline berth window with port of call agents and highlight situations which could lead to vessel delays, congestion or affect terminal productivity. \n
- Screen OOG/COD/Special stowage requests and ensure strict compliance with the company policy unless a valid exception has been authorized. \n
- Monitor tug usage on the arrival/departure reports and raise queries with Master/Assist Operations Manager (AOM) where excess tug usage is spotted. \n
- Monitor SDR’s closely to ensure initial action is taken and terminals are put on notice. AOM, LM/ Legal is correctly informed in case the SDR becomes a claim. \n
- Assist LM with PRF management to control and streamline such costs. \n
- Update forecast and utilization details. \n
- Support current Business Transformation initiatives as and when required concerning EDI integration with terminals, customers and development of internal procedures relating specifically to areas of expertise. \n
- Manage and take ownership of day-to-day operational matters of assigned vessels. \n
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Operations or the Reporting Manager. \n
As a member of the Line Operations department, you will ensure the safe planning and reduction of operating cost of vessels as part of the Line Management team and provide a professional link between Vessel Master, Line Management team and location agents in regard to all operational, vessel schedule and capacity matters.

As a Treasury Manager, you will oversee cash flow and liquidity management, ensuring efficient, effective and accurate financial and administrative operations. Working closely with internal teams, you will enhance internal controls against fraud, forecast cash flows, and prepare reports for senior management. Your role is essential in maintaining financial stability, optimizing currency operations, and supporting decision-making through accurate cash flow consolidations and analysis.
roles and responsibilities
- Cash flow and liquidity management
- Manage organizational cash flow, including TT & cheque payments, and oversee numerous international bank accounts for both incoming and outgoing transactions.
- Liaise with banks for transaction processing, handle ad-hoc queries, maintain relationships, and manage KYC/compliance matters.
- Forecast and consolidate cash flows to address the organization’s short- and medium-term financial needs.
- Foreign currency and repartiration
- Oversee the repatriation of specific foreign currencies into Singapore, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal timing.
- Monitor FX requirements, recommending and managing foreign currency purchases as needed.
- Internal controls and risk management
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud, phishing, and other security risks.
- Able to identify and manage financial risks such as currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.
- Treasury operations and bank loan management
- Manage comprehensive treasury functions, including cash management, bank loans (rollovers, drawdowns, compliance), and intercompany loans.
- Oversee cash pooling/sweeping and forex hedging to maximize liquidity and minimize FX exposure.
- Cash flow reporting and analysis
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of cash flow reporting and prepare weekly cash flow consolidations.
- Develop and present treasury reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Banking and relationship management
- Establish and maintain effective banking relationships, negotiate terms to optimize banking services and minimize transaction costs.
- Act as the primary contact for external banking partners, handling KYC, compliance, and transaction-related queries.
- Manage the implementation of TMS
- Take on any other duties or initiatives assigned.
job requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or relevant professional qualifications.
- At least 10 years of wide-ranging experience in financial planning and financial management in a MNC environment.
- Managerial Experience in leading a treasury team.
- Experienced in cash flow management.
- Knowledge of investment management strategies, including how to maximize return on short term cash while minimizing risk.
- Proficient in SAP, treasury management systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, detail orientation, and experience in cash flow planning.
- Managerial Experience in leading a treasury team.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
