The Line department manages the core business activities contributing to the profitability of the company’s shipping services by running of assigned services in a profitable manner and ensure constant dialogue with stakeholders, vendors and customers (principal and agency). It is reactive to market changes in order to ensure improved service volumes, scope, efficiencies and profitability.

Purpose of the internship: To have an overview in ship operations, yield optimization, principles of pricing and trade strategy. As the Line department works in close collaboration with various parties across the business region to achieve profit and growth performance indicators, the intern will have the opportunity to be immersed in a dynamic, international and multicultural environment.

Reports to: Manager, Trade

Knowledge on terminals and ship operations
Compilation of port rotations and sailing days
Compilation of data of the utilization rate for a particular line of service
Compilation of information of customers/competitors services using Alphaliner
Generating flash reports for line of service
Possibility of sailing onboard one of our vessel services.

Bachelor’s degree, or similar specialization from a recognized university.
Strong academic record and a passion to develop a long-term career in the Maritime industry;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Keen commercial acumen and a strong aptitude for numbers;
Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to work effectively in a team;
Proactive and adaptable mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow and take on challenges;
