- Execution of voyage instructions to new chartered vessels and ensure that operational procedures are followed by the vessel throughout the charter. \n
- Maximize vessel stowage based on CBF declared with minimum shut out / restows due to stowage issues, with equal crane split to optimize cargo operations and without impeding vessel safety. \n
- Stowage Planning of the vessel to be in compliance with DG segregation, Vessel stability, Lashing parameters, Line of Sight, Trim to meet safety requirements as per regulations. \n
- Closely monitor Vessel Reports in system to minimize pending reports and delayed submission. Ensure vessel report are accurate. Assist Line Managers (LM) with monitoring of alerts to ensure vessels are always following instructions. \n
- Speed adjustment instructions to Captain. \n
- Co-ordinate bunkering operations with local agency/operations to ensure smooth operation. \n
- Advise planned draft and load ability for draft restricted ports. \n
- Support line management in monitoring and coordinating downline berth window with port of call agents and highlight situations which could lead to vessel delays, congestion or affect terminal productivity. \n
- Screen OOG/COD/Special stowage requests and ensure strict compliance with the company policy unless a valid exception has been authorized. \n
- Monitor tug usage on the arrival/departure reports and raise queries with Master/Assist Operations Manager (AOM) where excess tug usage is spotted. \n
- Monitor SDR’s closely to ensure initial action is taken and terminals are put on notice. AOM, LM/ Legal is correctly informed in case the SDR becomes a claim. \n
- Assist LM with PRF management to control and streamline such costs. \n
- Update forecast and utilization details. \n
- Support current Business Transformation initiatives as and when required concerning EDI integration with terminals, customers and development of internal procedures relating specifically to areas of expertise. \n
- Manage and take ownership of day-to-day operational matters of assigned vessels. \n
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Operations or the Reporting Manager. \n
As a member of the Line Operations department, you will ensure the safe planning and reduction of operating cost of vessels as part of the Line Management team and provide a professional link between Vessel Master, Line Management team and location agents in regard to all operational, vessel schedule and capacity matters.

summary
As a Program Manager, you will manage a team of scrum masters and oversee transformational projects from start to end and drive on-ground adoption and implementation of solutions with users and address issues dynamically. You will primarily manage the budget and oversee the timeline, reporting the progress of the ongoing digital transformation projects, identifying gaps and clearing gaps escalated by your project managers, ultimately ensuring the delivery of the projects, in line with the business requirements of the Company.

roles and responsibilities
Progress Tracking:
- Define KPIs and corresponding measurements.
- Establish standards for reporting on progress for your scrum masters, improve processes to drive efficiency or scale growth.
- Monitor project progress at various stages, ensuring budget/costs are under control, milestones achieved and timelines are met.
- Manage the overall delivery of projects to drive successful project outcomes. Anticipate any potential issues that might impact the project.
Leadership and Cross-Departmental Coordination:
- Manage a team of 6 including scrum masters.
- Strategise how different types of initiatives should be managed and coordinated, and highlight the interdependencies between the projects, fostering collaboration and synergy among diverse teams.
- Assess actual resource allocations and optimize resource utilization for project success.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues affecting project delivery.
- Implement quality control measures and propose mitigation plans and solutions to address challenges proactively, ensuring project success and minimizing disruptions.
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
- Prepare presentations and documents for project progress reports and relevant meetings (e.g. monthly steering committee) to inform progress of individual projects.
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders (including steering committee, superusers), fostering transparency and alignment.
- Use of matrix reporting as part of the project progress tracking and reporting.
job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in digitalization or system implementation projects.
- Certifications in Agile (e.g. SCM, SAFE) is compulsory
- Strong business acumen to understand priorities and the business drivers of the priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies.
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications in relevant areas such as PMP, ITIL, or specific technology platforms are a plus.
- Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
