summary

As a Program Manager, you will manage a team of scrum masters and oversee transformational projects from start to end and drive on-ground adoption and implementation of solutions with users and address issues dynamically. You will primarily manage the budget and oversee the timeline, reporting the progress of the ongoing digital transformation projects, identifying gaps and clearing gaps escalated by your project managers, ultimately ensuring the delivery of the projects, in line with the business requirements of the Company.

roles and responsibilities

Progress Tracking:

Define KPIs and corresponding measurements.
Establish standards for reporting on progress for your scrum masters, improve processes to drive efficiency or scale growth.
Monitor project progress at various stages, ensuring budget/costs are under control, milestones achieved and timelines are met.
Manage the overall delivery of projects to drive successful project outcomes. Anticipate any potential issues that might impact the project.

Leadership and Cross-Departmental Coordination:

Manage a team of 6 including scrum masters.
Strategise how different types of initiatives should be managed and coordinated, and highlight the interdependencies between the projects, fostering collaboration and synergy among diverse teams.
Assess actual resource allocations and optimize resource utilization for project success.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and issues affecting project delivery.
Implement quality control measures and propose mitigation plans and solutions to address challenges proactively, ensuring project success and minimizing disruptions.

Stakeholder Management and Communication:

Prepare presentations and documents for project progress reports and relevant meetings (e.g. monthly steering committee) to inform progress of individual projects.
Communicate project updates, milestones, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders (including steering committee, superusers), fostering transparency and alignment.
Use of matrix reporting as part of the project progress tracking and reporting.

job requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in digitalization or system implementation projects.
Certifications in Agile (e.g. SCM, SAFE) is compulsory
Strong business acumen to understand priorities and the business drivers of the priorities.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of digital technologies.
Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications in relevant areas such as PMP, ITIL, or specific technology platforms are a plus.
Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
