The French leasing structure involved navigating complex legal, operational and jurisdictional challenges, all resolved within the framework of X-press Feeders Group’s strategic growth and environmental objectives, and with the invaluable support and expertise of the French International Register Office and the French Maritime Administration. Partner banks involved in this financing included Société Générale, Crédit Industriel et Commercial, BNP Paribas, Bank of America, DekaBank and KfW Ipex. Recognised for its innovative structure, strong execution, and contribution to sustainable shipping, the leasing deal supports the expansion of X-Press Feeders’ methanol-powered fleet and reflects the company’s commitment to industry leadership in decarbonisation. “We are honoured to receive this recognition from Marine Money,” said Ofir Wilzig, Chief Financial Officer, X-Press Feeders. “This award underscores the strength of collaboration with our financing partners and our shared vision of advancing sustainable growth through innovative financial solutions.” The six dual-fuel vessels are a key part of X-Press Feeders’ broader strategy to accelerate the industry’s transition to low-carbon shipping.
